"About Ken"

Called by the Lord at the tender age of 5, Ken's whole life has been involved in ministry. After 22 years of full-time ministry, he is convinced that regardless of ones talent or ability, the presence of God and His anointing are two ingredients necessary in ministering to others.

Ken began ministering on the road at age 13. Since then his preaching & his music have taken him across the nation, Europe and the Middle East. As an American missionary in Beirut, Lebanon, Ken was black listed and thrown in jail during the l974 war. Being a part of the missionary team during those times, Ken's ministry to the Muslims and Christians is mentioned throughout Terry Raburn's book, "Under the Guns in Beirut." Since God has opened the doors to some of the largest churches in America, television and radio.

Ken has distinguished himself amongst churches and musicians in the areas of sound engineering, MIDI and computer music scoring. As owner of LaBrie Productions since 1985, he has produced nearly 100 albums internationally. In the churches where he was Minister of Music, he arranged, directed and produced numerous songs and contatas. He engineered the sound for various artists such as Larnell Harris, Dino, Nancy Harmon and Big John Hall.

Experiencing the presence of the Lord through worship is Ken's greatest joy. He knows the peace and fulfillment that it brings, and loves leading others into what blesses the Lord and His people the most.

Ken has appreared on Channel 22, for the Carpenter's Home Church, and Channel 45 in Miami, FL., as well as other TV and radio broadcasts through the years. His life experiences have deepened, demonstrated by his ministry in word and music. While many sing new and unfamiliar songs, Ken has chosen to mix his own songs with many of the great traditional hymns. Beautifully orchestrated, his musical arrangements touch the hearts of all ages.

In December of 1994 Ken was diagnosed with MS, receiving a prognosis which would confine him to a wheel chair within one month's time. Still walking in faith, Ken experiences overwhelming joy in his heart which shines through his messages, capturing a delightful blend of humor and seriousness. His outlook on life in Christ is refreshing, demonstrating the sustaining power through the name of Jesus. A vocalist, a dynamic keyboard artist, and a passion to serve the Lord along with his unique adventures in life make Ken's music ministry a renewing and refreshing experience to the listener.
